It often resembles natural formations such as stalactites and stalagmites, but consists of independent crystalline aggregates. These may take on star-like, needle-like, or spiny shapes, often resembling snowflakes or floral structures. The crystals typically exhibit a vitreous to silky luster.
Color and Appearance
The color ranges from pure white through creamy to honey-toned, sometimes with a hint of orange or gray. After polishing, the surface reveals internal patterns, zoning, and sparkling features.
