Mining History and Exploration
Gold and silver mining in the Zlate Hory region, including the Mir Mine, was halted in 1993. In 2019, a geological survey was conducted to assess remaining gold deposits, potentially reviving local mining in the future.

These rare specimens provide insight into the original gold-bearing veins of the northern Jeseníky and are considered among the most significant Czech collector’s treasures.
