Morasko Meteorite

Morasko meteorite is one of the best-known iron meteorites from Poland. The finds are associated with the Morasko area near Poznań, where several impact craters are also located. Morasko is classified as an IAB-MG iron meteorite and is popular among collectors for its origin, history of finds and attractive internal structure.

After cutting, polishing and etching, Morasko specimens can reveal a characteristic metallic structure formed by iron-nickel alloys. Each piece is an original fragment of extraterrestrial material that, after thousands of years on Earth, became part of one of the best-known meteorite localities in Central Europe.
